Split a PDF
Extract the pages you need, cut a PDF into parts by page ranges, or save every page as its own file. You see a thumbnail of every page before splitting, and nothing is ever uploaded.
100% private: files are processed in your browser and never uploaded to any server.
How it works
- Drop a PDF into the box above — every page appears as a thumbnail.
- Choose how to split: click the pages to extract, type page ranges like “1-3, 7”, or split every page.
- Click “Split PDF” and download the results — as separate files or a single ZIP.
Frequently asked questions
How do page ranges work?
Type ranges separated by commas, for example “1-3, 7, 10-12”. Each range becomes a separate PDF: pages 1 to 3 in the first file, page 7 in the second, and so on.
Can I extract just one page?
Yes. Use “Extract selected pages” and click the page you want, or type a single page number as a range. You get a one-page PDF.
Is my document uploaded while splitting?
No. The PDF is read and split by code running in your browser. It never leaves your device.
Do the split files keep the original quality?
Yes. Pages are copied as-is, with no recompression — text stays selectable and images keep their resolution.
